Why I’m Still Here: A Love Letter to Education and Community
I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years—Special Education Teacher, Dean of Students, Program Director, Community Organizer. But above all else, I’ve always been a bridge-builder. Fifteen years ago, I stepped into my first classroom wide-eyed and armed with purpose. Since then, I’ve stood in boardrooms, classrooms, church basements, and street corners—anywhere young people needed someone to remind them that they matter. That they can. That they will.
